Wilson came to Peak with a 5 year history of knee arthritis and pain. His goal was to get stronger to prevent knee surgery. He got stronger in the next year, but the degenerative knee pain was too severe and he had a total knee replacement February 2022.
Wilson says: “I started PT in spring 2021. I could barely walk due to the pain. After my surgery in 2022, the Peak team asked questions, modified my program and we began getting results without any relapses. I’m so glad I did the PT BEFORE surgery too because it really helped. Allison is so encouraging and helped me keep a positive attitude. Thanks for always listening!”
Allison says: “Wilson was a pro by the time he had his total knee surgery. His bending and strength were great due to his prehab, but he had to work like crazy to get back his full strength. He put in the work, literally; multiple times per day; stretching his knee. It paid off because he is now able to walk whenever he wants for 2-3 miles, go up and down stairs, jog lightly and start a cross fit program! Wilson, so proud of the way you crushed your goals!!”
