July 2022 Peak Performer of the Month

Sean Woodyard

Meet Sean

On May 22, 2021, Sean was involved in a multi-trauma accident while riding his motorcycle. After multiple surgeries and an extensive hospital stay, he made is way to Peak for the purpose of restoring motion to his left “frozen” shoulder. He had to have is AC joint stabilized, and was noticing a severe stiffening and decreased motion in his left shoulder.

Sean says: “The staff and Allison cares deeply for the well being of the patients. Their dedication to my recovery was evident from the start. I still had to put in extra work and push my own limits, but the huge doses of encouragement and skill are the reason that I’m about 100% recovered! A heartfelt thanks to all the Peak staff for sticking with me!”

Allison says: “That was one stiff shoulder! There were a few of us who got in and stretched and mobilized that shoulder over the months. Sean would breath and laugh while we did what we needed to do. He was totally focused on returning to riding and was motivated to do anything possible to reach NO limitations!! He is a great role model for getting it done…because he really got it done!!”
