Emily came for post operative care after having an ACL reconstruction in combination with a meniscal repair. She was just getting started when she had to return to college. Now four months later she is back and eager to advance and prepare for her spring soccer season. She is currently only 6 months out from her August surgery.
Emily says: “I came back to Peak Performance on my college break to continue my ACL recovery. In a few short weeks, I saw drastic improvements in my ability to absorb and transfer forces. My overall quad strength and balance was way better. I’ve begun to do some light agilities and am psyched to be moving towards college soccer skills. I appreciate all that Mike and Zack did to further my recovery and am immensely thankful that such a wonderful and highly skilled PT place is available in Rochester.”
Mike says: “Emily only had a short time during college winter break to make a big impact. That demanded high focus, consistent effort, attention to detail, and trust in the advances and changes I was making. Emily checked all those boxes! Gains she made in just four weeks were HUGE! This girl is going to do awesome. Congrats Emily. You are well on your way!”
Emily chose the Ronald McDonald House as her charity. A $50 donation has been made to the Ronald McDonald House in honor of Emily’s accomplishments here at Peak.
