March 2024 Peak Performer of the Month

Alex B PPOM 3.24

Meet Alex

Alex took an unexpected fall at work.  He tore his meniscus, sustained a tibial/fibular fracture and sprained his ACL all in his right leg.  He couldn’t really walk, let alone run or go up and down stairs without pain.  He thought his knee felt unstable and weak.  His goal was to return to his very active and physically demanding job.

Alex says:  “The staff made this feel personal and comfortable, yet they got me to work hard.  I think the results speak for themselves.  My leg feels stronger now than before my injury.  My job requires confidence that my knee can hold up if I have to run, jump a fence or stop quickly at any time or under any condition.  I am now cleared for work and I really appreciate Andrew and all of the Peak staff for helping me get there.”

Andrew says:  “This was one painful knee!  The stability and strength of this knee was critical to Alex’s safety when he went back to work.  Alex stuck to the program even when it seemed like a slow road.  He was always willing to work hard, and he never quit or shied away from new exercises or progressions.  As a matter of fact, sometimes I had to slow him down to allow healing.  He is back to working out and more importantly, keeping us safe.  Crushed it Alex!!”

Alex chose Lollypop Farm as his charity.  A $50 donation has been made to Lollypop in honor of Alex’s accomplishments here at Peak.
