Susan has gotten to know us well at Peak PT over the years. From shoulders to knees and now her hip, she has faithfully done her exercises. This year her right hip was “bone-on-bone” and causing pain that limited her ability to do many of the activities she enjoyed doing…so it was time to have it replaced. It was a more challenging regimen than she thought it would be but it really worked and she is back moving and grooving!
Susan says: “Allison reminded me repeatedly that the pain would subside and the required healing would happen. As progress was made, Allison was inspirational each visit with the right “pep talks” at just the right time. Together, we were on the road to success. I’m now moving easily and even getting off the floor. On the last visit I brought some music and celebrated by line dancing with Allison in the clinic at Peak. The secret to succeeding at Peak is that you feel cared for and loved by PTs committed to figuring out how to help you and how to help you help yourself. Thank you to the Peak Staff!”
Allison says: “I so enjoyed working with Susan. As a teacher, she would come in with a book of all her exercise color coded and organized with stickers. She thinks we helped her, but actually she spread joy and kindness around the clinic, to myself and the staff every visit. Even on the days where she was worried or down, she was kindhearted. Was I ever surprised and excited to line dance with her and Andrew during her last visit. Sue took all the cues and exercises we gave her and really worked diligently to get where she is now. Keep smiling Sue!!”
Susan chose Doctors with Borders as her charity. Peak Performance has made a $50 donation to Doctors without Borders in Susan’s name to honor her accomplishments here at Peak.
Way to go Susan!
