Meet Meredith

Meredith took a hard fall down three stairs at work.  She landed on her back and was left with disabling left side back pain.  It hurt to walk, lift anything, and even to lay down.  Meredith’s job as a waitress is very physical.  It requires her to stay in shape and carry heavy trays.  She loved working out regularly prior to the injury, but was unable to do so after this.

Meredith says:  “I love fitness and enjoy working out hard.  This injury prevented that.  Everything hurt! At Peak, I learned about my body outside of my injury.  I feel that I addressed healing with intention, care, and how to support my health.  Bill took the time to find out my issues.  Peak is not only a friendly environment, but I had a lot fun working hard while I learned.  I am back to work and working out now with no pain.  Thank you Bill!!”

Bill says:  “Meredith was the ideal patient.  She was hard working, understood her body, and how to move it.  She also understood how to dial down activity to allow healing.  Sometimes it’s not what you add, but the things that you avoid that gets you back faster.  Meredith allowed for the rest, and when it was time to work, she went ahead like gangbusters!!  I loved being apart of this process and watching her return to lifting heavy weights pain free!”

Meredith chose Lollypop Farm as her charity.  A $50 donation has been made to Lollypop Farm in honor of Meredith’s accomplishments here at Peak.

Way to go Meredith!!
