Personal Info

I am a Rochester native and went to high school in the Greece area. In my free-time I enjoy going on adventures with my wife and dog. We have recently had an addition to the family of my son, Callan. I am very in-tune with professional and collegiate sports, especially football, lacrosse, and basketball. I am always looking forward to the Olympics as it is a time to see so many athletes across the world come and compete and watch the best of the best, GO USA!!! I love participating in recreational sports such as basketball, lacrosse, ultimate frisbee, and disc golf.

Motivation

As I have great interest in sports, I also have a high interest in sports performance and rehabilitation. One aspect I feel really passionate about is injury reduction/prevention. You cannot prevent all injuries, however you can certainly reduce the likelihood of an injury happening. A lot of it is knowing how to handle the stress that is applied to the body in all directions, whether it would be functional movement or during an athletic movement. In my years of athletics, I have tore my ACL 3 times, twice on the right leg and once on the left, with successful surgeries. Whether or not I was ready to perform or performed an athletic movement correctly was the question. This personal experience drives me to educate athletes and others on how to move their body in a safe and proper fashion to limit injury. I am always striving to reach 110% of my patients goals to let them reach new opportunities or activities they could not due prior to the injury.
