Meet Rachael

Rachael’s shin splints started last February. She tried orthotics, rest and stretches. Although they helped, the pain persisted. During indoor and outdoor collegiate track seasons she had to take of weeks of training repeatedly which caused her to miss multiple meets due to the pain.

Rachael says: “Peak Performance has made an outstanding difference in my life. Before coming here, I had been suffering from shin splits since freshman indoor track season. I tried so many times to rest and return slowly yet every time the pain came back. Peak figured out the underlying cause of over pronation and helped me correct it with the right exercises and stretches. I am now running almost 40 miles per week pain free. My worrying is gone!”

Andrew says: “Rachael just wanted to run. She loves to run as much as she loves to sport her RIT Tigers gear daily. She came in so ready to work and ready to do everything we gave her. Rachael was consistent and prioritized the rehab as much as her training. The meticulous way she approached, no attacked the program was rewarded with results. She is now able to train and run without shin pain. Such a great job Rachael. See you at the finish line!!”

Rachael chose the Ronald McDonald House as her charity.  A $50 donation has been made to Lollypop in honor of Rachael’s accomplishments here at Peak.
