January 2023 Peak Performer of the Month

Washburn Hannah

Meet Hannah

Hannah first graduated from Peak in 2019 after Mike helped her recover from a fractured patella. She went on to successfully finish three years of collegiate field hockey. An increase in knee pain and popping was followed by injuring her knee and quad/hamstring muscles with weight training and ski season prep. This time she saw Bill.

Hannah says: “I knew that I needed to come back to Peak. Bill was able to get me back to no pain in my knee or quad and my knee doesn’t pop anymore! I can work out like an athlete now, lifting weights and running without worry that I’m going to re-injure myself. I had favored this leg so long I forgot what normal was like. Thank you for giving me my life back over and over!”

Bill says: “Hannah has dealt with more than her share of adversities as an athlete over the past years. It’d be easy to get discouraged and feel like you’re at the end of it all. Hannah’s enthusiasm and positive outlook actually reminded me that the heart and mind can push the body. You are inspiration. I learned and grew from helping her through this also. Way to go Hannah!”

Hannah chose the Bethany House as her charity. Peak has made a $50 donation in Hannah’s name to honor her accomplishments here at Peak!
